Dr Aline Wolfenberger

Aline Wolfensberger, MD, is a board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Hospital Epidemiology. She also holds a certificate in Implementation Science. Dr. Wolfensberger’s clinical and research work centers on healthcare-associated infections, with a particular focus on non-ventilator-associated hospital-acquired pneumonia (nvHAP).

She has led and contributed to multiple projects on nvHAP surveillance and prevention at the University Hospital Zurich, publishing on both nvHAP and other healthcare-acquired infections. With a strong background in implementation science, Dr. Wolfensberger brings experience in translating evidence.
