I first worked for the PHLS as a Laboratory Scientist in hospital clinical and public health microbiology. I gained a Masters degree in Medical Microbiology before moving on to qualify in Food Safety and Infectious Disease Control in Environmental Health, working for a number of Local Authorities, lastly leading the team at Bexley, London.I have held my current role at FWEM, UKHSA, for 3 years, liaising and interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
